To help the the gastronomy sector in Vienna, the city has launched an extraordinary campaign. As reported, every Viennese household will receive a gastronomy voucher (read previous report – City of Vienna gives residents Restaurant vouchers) – to be redeemed by September. The said voucher should be in the mailboxes by the end of the June at the latest. Here are some information about the campaign:
- One person household will receive a 25 Euro voucher, households with more people a voucher worth 50 Euros.
- To be redeemed in your favourite pub or coffee house.
- Valid only for food and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Those who accept vouchers will be clearly visible at the restaurant.
- The voucher should be forgery-proof, but you can also donate it.
- There is no return money. Whoever dines for 41.90 euros cannot have the rest returned and cannot demand a replacement voucher.
