After the slight relaxation at the beginning of the week, there were 5,802 new corona cases and 90 deaths from Tuesday to Wednesday.
New infections are increasing again compared to Monday and Tuesday.
One week after the start of the hard lockdown, the trend that was still visible at the beginning of the week is not continuing. From Tuesday to Wednesday there are 5,802 new positive corona tests in Austria.
Again today an increase in positive test results was recorded in all nine German states.

As of today (November 25, 2020, 9:30 a.m.), 260,512 people throughout the country have been diagnosed with Covid-19, according to the Ministry of the Interior. 2,667 people have died as a result of the infection and 189,059 have recovered. From Tuesday to Wednesday there were 90 Corona victims. At present, 3,867 people are undergoing hospital treatment due to the corona virus and 709 of those affected are in intensive care units – five more than on Tuesday.
The Covid-19 dashboard of the AGES obtains its data exclusively from the Epidemiological Register (EMS) and is updated once a day at 2 pm. The EMS is the official register in which the district authorities and laboratories are entered.
