108,017 more vaccinations have been carried out on Thursday. Austria-wide, there were more than 500,000 vaccinations within the past week. In total, according to the E-vaccination data, 4,372,190 have already received at least a partial vaccination, 49.1 percent of the population, 2,375,827 or 26.7 percent of Austrians are already fully immunized, last Friday it was for the first time over 25 percent.
The vaccination coverage rate is highest in Lower Austria with 54.1 percent. In Burgenland, 53.8 percent of the population is vaccinated, and in Tyrol, 49.6 percent. After Salzburg (49), Vorarlberg (48.7), Carinthia (48.3), Styria (48.1) and Upper Austria (46.8), Vienna brings up the rear with a vaccination coverage rate of 44.1 percent – these figures refer to Thursday in each case.
