From Friday to Saturday, there were 162 new Corona infections in Austria. Compared to the previous week (93 cases), this is a slight increase of 69 cases. This brings the 7-day incidence to 8.89.
In addition, there is one new death associated with Covid 19 infection. The number of active cases increases to 1,916 with 95 new recoveries.
In the past 24 hours, 69,977 new PCR tests were performed, bringing the positive rate to 0.23 percent.
The positive news, despite slightly increasing numbers, is that there are four fewer Corona patients in hospitals. No new patients have been added to the intensive care units.
