Rome – Italy is abolishing its corona entry rules at the end of the month. With the expiration of the previous regulation, it will no longer be necessary to prove a Corona vaccination, recovery, or negative test when entering the country, the Foreign Ministry in Rome said Monday.

Protective masks in public transport are still mandatory
Italy became the first European country affected by the coronavirus in early 2020. In the wake of the pandemic, it imposed some of the strictest corona requirements. For example, all workers in the workplace were required to present a Corona vaccination, recovery, or negative test. Most Corona measures have since been lifted as the vaccination campaign progressed. Protective masks are now mandatory only in schools and on public transportation.
