There were also 28 corona virus-related deaths reported from Monday to Tuesday.
There are 1,625 new coronavirus infections in Austria today (Tuesday). Compared to Tuesday of the previous week (2,026), there are 401 fewer infections, so the 7-day incidence is also decreasing. Because of the 2,760 new recoveries, the number of active cases has dropped to 24,067.
In addition, 28 deaths related to the virus have been reported. This means that 10,126 people have died so far.
There are also 65,085 new PCR tests as of today, Tuesday. This puts the positive rate at 2.5 percent.
