The OPLAN KALINGA. “Task Force Fil-Ukraine”, comprised of heads of Filipino organizations in Vienna, has been created upon the initiative of CdA Frank Olea, Philippine Embassy in Vienna. The primary objective of this initiative is to assist Filipino refugees from Ukraine in Vienna. At the moment, there is a group of 9 Filipinos registered with the Embassy and being assisted by the Task Force. More groups are expected to arrive. Please bring to the Philippine Embassy’s attention our kababayans who have arrived in Vienna from Ukraine. They might be vulnerable to trafficking by criminal groups who are taking advantage of the situation.
For your voluntary help to Filipinos who are temporarily staying in Vienna, contact the following tasked persons by TASK FORCE FIL UKRAINE :

RICHEL BOEGNER – for monetary assistance
VIRGINIA RADL – for their health and medical care
MARJORIE AKISTOY – for accomodation and basic needs
It is a centralized and orderly channel of accommodation to our Kababayans from Ukraine not only to assist them but to keep the protocol, their health, and safety and enlighten their burden brought by the current conflict of Russia and Ukraine. The Philippine Embassy in Vienna processes the proper coordination with the proper authorities in Ukraine, Austria and Manila. Let´s all pray that LOVE prevail, NOT war.
