Shortly before the election in the USA, President Donald Trump mocked his challenger Joe Biden during a telephone conference with the governments of Sudan and Israel. Speaking to journalists during yesterday’s circuit at the White House, Trump announced that Sudan and Israel had agreed to normalize their relations under his mediation.
“Do you think Sleepy Joe could have made this deal, Bibi,” Trump asked Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “I do not think so.” Netanyahu replied diplomatically: “We appreciate the help for peace from everyone in America. At the same time, the Prime Minister of Sudan, Abdullah Hamduk, and the Chairman of the Sovereign Council of the country, Abdel Fattah Burhan, were in the leadership.
The 74-year-old Republican Trump regularly mocks his 77-year-old Democratic challenger Biden as “Sleepy Joe”. Trump repeatedly accuses former Vice President Biden of lacking physical and mental fitness and publicly doubts whether he is up to the presidency. In polls before the election on November 3, Biden is ahead of Trump.
