Run on registration: in Vienna, 263,000 pre-registrations for a Corona vaccination had already been recorded by Monday afternoon. This was communicated by the office of Health City Councilor Peter Hacker (SPÖ) to the APA. The rush also led temporarily to waiting times.
Official start for registration on Monday
Registration at https://impfservice.wien/ has been possible since Saturday – although the official start was only today. According to City Hall, however, the “soft start” has in any case eased the situation. Although there were delays, the servers have always been stable, it was assured.
Pre-registration is also possible via the health telephone 1450. There, too, the interest was great. It came to longer waiting periods, which were however not comparable with those in the spring or late summer, it was said.
A concrete appointment for a vaccination does not mean the reservation, however, yet. People who have registered will only receive corresponding proposals at a later date – depending on the phase in which it is their turn. This depends, for example, on the age of the interested parties.
Over 200,000 Lower Austrians have already pre-registered for Corona vaccination. A concrete registration option will be available at a later date.
In Lower Austria, almost 200,000 people have registered online for vaccination against the corona virus by Monday noon. All pre-registered persons would be informed regularly “about the current priority ranking and the start of vaccination for certain occupational and personal groups and the further procedure,” Health Regional Councillor Ulrike Königsberger-Ludwig (SPÖ) said in a statement. The immunization of the general population is to start in the second quarter.
