The first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam is beaten, ten countries made it on Tuesday evening to the big final show on May 22.
It will now be exciting for Austria on Thursday, when Vincent Bueno with the slow ballad “Amen” must fight in the second semifinal against 16 strong competitors for entry into the final round.
Grand Song Contest Final on May 22 with 26 countries
On Saturday, the time has come, and all 26 nations are allowed to prove themselves in front of the again expected 120 million TV viewers – and 3,500 live viewers – to grab the European singing crown. Then, in addition to the 20 countries that advanced from the semifinals, the biggest contributors to the competition, known as the “Big Five,” will also have their turn: Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy and Spain. And this year’s hosts, the Netherlands, will also only be involved in the final round.
