Travel to England is becoming easier again: as of today, the quarantine requirement previously in force will no longer apply to CoV vaccinated persons from the EU and the USA. According to the British government, travelers from France are not covered by the new regulation because of the spread of the beta variant of the coronavirus there. According to authorities, the exemption from quarantine applies to anyone who has been fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) or the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Previously, only people who had been administered the vaccine in the United Kingdom were exempt from the quarantine rules. However, the new rules only affect entry into England. The regional governments of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland issue their own entry regulations.
