Next Monday the vaccination campaign in Vienna aimed specifically at teachers and students over the age of twelve will be launched. “In order to ensure the safest possible start to school and smooth attendance at lessons, it is necessary to achieve the highest possible Covid 19 vaccination rate,” explained a spokesman for the Vienna City Councilor for Health, Hacker. For this reason, we are appealing to all teachers and all students over the age of twelve who have not yet been vaccinated to do so. The vaccine is freely selectable, provided that the persons are over 18 years old. Biontech/Pfizer or Moderna will be administered to those under 18.
And next Saturday (August 14) there will be a special event in the Vienna Arena: “Turbobier” frontman and doctor Marco Pogo will be giving the vaccine as part of the big Opens Air concert. In cooperation with the City of Vienna and Hacker, Pogo ,has organized a vaccination street and personally vaccinates fans and all those who want to be. “If I wasn’t already vaccinated, I would have had myself vaccinated by a rock ‘n’ roll doctor anyway,” Hacker was quoted as saying in a Pogo release.
All those willing to be vaccinated can come to the arena without registration from 12.00 to 14.00 and will be immunized with the vaccine from Johnson & Johnson, persons from twelve to 17 years with the vaccine from Pfizer. All they need to bring is an ID card and their e-card. The vaccination campaign is not linked to the concert, so anyone who has not bought a ticket can also be vaccinated.
