The autumn weather in Austria continues. At least until Wednesday, it will remain cool and unsettled under the influence of low pressure. From Thursday, it should become friendlier and warmer again.

Today, Monday
From Vorarlberg to southern Upper Austria and the Enns Valley in Styria, it will rain frequently and sometimes heavily, and with a partly brisk westerly wind, temperatures will reach a maximum of 12 to 18 degrees. In the rest of the country it will be 16 to 22 degrees, and especially towards the east there will be some sunshine, in the course of the day a few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop again, most of them in Carinthia. At 2000m the temperature will rise to 3 to 7 degrees.

Tomorrow, Tuesday
Once again mostly cloudy and many showers, the rain focus is again on the northern side of the Alps. Longer sunny in parts of southern Austria, but in the course of the day a few showers will develop here as well. In many places brisk, on the mountains and in the east partly strong wind from west to northwest. Highs: 13 to 19, in the south up to 22 degrees. At 2000m around 4, in the south up to 8 degrees.

Wednesday
In the south and west initially some fog and cloud fields, during the day mostly sunny and 17 to 23 degrees. From Salzburger Land to the east still a little cooler, here more clouds than sun, partly strong northwest wind and especially in the mountains until the afternoon still some rain showers.

The further trend
On Thursday, high-pressure weather and thus a lot of sun throughout the country. At first a few fog patches, during the day some spring clouds, but dry everywhere. Mainly moderate, in the east still partly brisk wind from north to east. Highs: 18 to 24, in the Inn Valley up to 26 degrees.

On Friday, still some sun. Early morning fog in places, in the west gradually also clouds and a few showers. In the east, an increasing southerly wind. In the afternoon mostly 19 to 25 degrees.
