Good Friday marked the third time this week that the number of new infections was below 10,000. Specifically, 9,790 new infections were registered in Austria. This is below the previous 7-day average of 10,367 conditions. The 7-day incidence is currently 815.26.
Currently, 146,933 people are actively infected.
In the past 24 hours, 119,593 PCR tests have been performed. This results in a positive rate of 8.19 percent.
In addition, 31 people have died in connection with the Covid-19 infection. Thus, the pandemic has claimed 16,390 lives so far.
