From Sunday to Monday, 2,708 new infections were registered in Austria. The number is below the 7-day average of 4,693 infections. The 7-day incidence continues to drop to 369.07.
The number of active Corona cases also decreases slightly again – to 68,176.
In addition, there is one new death. Thus, 19,395 persons have died in connection with a SARS-CoV-2 infection throughout Austria.
Currently, 1,091 patients are being treated in hospitals, and 66 patients are being treated in intensive care units.
