Vienna, Austria – February 2025 In celebration of National Arts Month this February, the Philippine Embassy in Austria and the Filipino Visual Artists in Austria (FVAA) proudly present “Pilipinas”, a special art exhibition showcasing the Philippines’ rich and diverse artistic heritage. The exhibition will take place from 25 to 27 February 2025 at Ares Tower, 21st Floor, Donau-City-Strasse 11, 1220 Vienna.
The “Pilipinas” exhibition aims to highlight the Filipino people’s creativity, culture, and traditions through a collection of artworks by talented Filipino artists based in Austria. This event offers art enthusiasts, cultural advocates, and the general public a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant world of Filipino visual arts.
Organized in collaboration with the Filipino Visual Artists in Austria – FVAA, the exhibition will feature various artistic styles and mediums, reflecting the artists’ personal interpretations of Filipino identity and heritage. From traditional to contemporary works, each piece serves as a visual narrative of the Philippines—its landscapes, history, and evolving cultural expressions.
