Vienna, Austria – In celebration of Filipino Food Month this April, the Philippine Embassy and the Ilonggo Community in Austria invite film enthusiasts and cultural aficionados to a free screening of the Hiligaynon movie Azucar. The event will occur at Cinecenter, Fleischmarkt 6, 1010 Wien, on April 11, from 18:00 to 20:00.
Directed by Kurt Soberano, Azucar is a poignant 41-minute film that offers a glimpse into the rich culture and heritage of the Ilonggo people. Following the screening, a short panel discussion hosted by the Ilonggo Community in Austria will provide deeper insights into the film’s themes and significance.
