Vienna, Austria – October 31, 2025 — The Global Save Life Foundation (GSLF) marked Halloween with a thrilling twist this year, hosting its annual Spooky Halloween Costume Party at Salvatorianerplatz 1, 1100 Vienna. The event combined frightful fun with heartfelt purpose, bringing together community members for an evening of music, dancing, and generosity.
Guests arrived in their creepiest, funniest, and most creative costumes, filling the venue with laughter and Halloween spirit. A highlight of the night was the Best Costume Award, where one lucky participant took home a fabulous prize for their standout look.
Beyond the spooky festivities, the event carried a meaningful goal: to support GSLF’s ongoing humanitarian efforts in the Philippines. Funds raised from the celebration will help continue the organization’s mission to save lives and bring hope to communities in need.
“This is more than just a Halloween party—it’s a celebration of life, creativity, and compassion,” said Elmer Blanco, GSLF President and Event Coordinator. “Every smile, every dance, every costume contributes to our global mission of helping others.”
Distinguished guests included representatives from the Philippine Embassy in Austria, led by Chryzl Sicat, who delivered an inspiring message of gratitude to GSLF for its life-saving initiatives in the Philippines. Mr. Delmer Cruz from the Department of Migrant Workers also attended, along with leaders from various Filipino organizations in Austria, who pledged continued support for GSLF’s projects.
In his closing remarks, Mr. Blanco expressed heartfelt appreciation for the community’s unity and generosity:
“The strength of our mission comes from the compassion of our people. We’re deeply thankful to our kababayans for standing with us.”
The event was a reminder that even the spookiest night of the year can shine with the spirit of giving and togetherness.
