Vienna, Austria — December 2025 — The Council of Filipino Associations in Austria (CFAA), in cooperation with the Global Save Life Foundation (GSLF), once again demonstrated its steadfast compassion and commitment to supporting less fortunate Filipinos in the Philippines. Guided by the dedication and leadership of Mr. Elmer Blanco and his team, CFAA and GSLF continue to uphold their mission of solidarity, especially during times of hardship.

“We don’t have much, but we share whatever we have,” has long been the guiding spirit behind the organizations’ humanitarian efforts. This heartfelt principle came to life once more on December 9, when volunteers brought food and cheer to children battling cancer at the Philippine General Hospital.

The simple act of sharing a meal became a moment of profound connection. For children whose lives have been forever changed by illness, happiness often means finding brief but meaningful moments of joy, comfort, and hope. While CFAA and GSLF cannot ease their burdens completely, the smiles that lit up the children’s faces—even for a short while—were priceless.

“This is the true spirit of Christmas,” the organizers shared. “To bring light where it is needed most, to offer kindness without measure, and to remind our kababayans that they are never forgotten.”

CFAA and GSLF extend their gratitude to all supporters, volunteers, and partners who continue to make these acts of service possible. Their collective generosity ensures that compassion reaches those who need it most.
