Vienna, Austria — January 4, 2026 — The United Pinoy Basketball in Austria (UPBA) proudly concluded its highly anticipated Season 7 Rise Van Rental Cup with an electrifying Championship Day held at the Stadthalle in Vienna. The event drew an enthusiastic crowd whose energy and team spirit fueled an unforgettable finale.
Organizers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all supporters, families, and communities who filled the venue with cheers, as well as to the league’s main sponsors whose unwavering support made the season possible. According to the UPBA Committee, the overwhelming presence of fans—passionately cheering for their respective teams—played a major role in the success of this year’s tournament.
Season 7 celebrated three exceptional teams who not only claimed championship titles but also completed their divisions undefeated:
- Vienna Knights – Champion, Open League Division (Undefeated)
- Austro Ballers – Champion, 40 Above Edition (Undefeated)
- Falcon Slashers – Champion, Under 17 Division (Undefeated)
Each team showcased remarkable skill, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the season, earning admiration from fans and fellow athletes alike.
Looking ahead, the UPBA Committee is already preparing for Season 8, aiming to deliver an even bigger, more exciting, and more community-centered basketball experience in 2026.
