Tuesday: More Sunshine as Fog Retreats
Tuesday again starts with fog or low clouds in inner‑alpine basins and northern and eastern lowlands. As the day progresses, the fog layer weakens, allowing sunshine to dominate across most of the country. Outside the typical fog zones, the sky remains clear all day. Temperatures begin between –11°C and +1°C, climbing to highs of –3°C to +8°C. The warmest spots appear in mid‑elevation areas along the northern Alps, boosted by southerly föhn winds.
