However, Geosphere Austria warns of significant Saharan dust drifting into the region, which will further dull the sky and reduce visibility. Overall, clouds will thicken from the southwest as the day progresses.

In Vorarlberg, Tyrol, and Upper Carinthia, the likelihood of rain and embedded showers will gradually increase. Moderate to brisk winds from the east to south will blow across the eastern regions and some föhn‑prone valleys. Morning temperatures will range from 3 to 10 degrees, with daytime highs between 12 and 22 degrees.

Tuesday: Mostly Cloudy With Widespread Showers

A weak disturbance will maintain extensive cloud cover on Tuesday, with only occasional sunny breaks. Light rain and scattered showers are expected repeatedly, especially in the west and south. Winds will ease noticeably across the country. Early temperatures will lie between 4 and 11 degrees, with highs reaching 11 to 18 degrees.

Wednesday: Low Pressure Brings More Rain

Austria will sit under the influence of a low‑pressure system on Wednesday. Clouds will dominate, though brief sunny intervals remain possible. Rain may fall at times in all regions. Winds will generally be light to moderate and variable in direction. Temperatures will start between 3 and 10 degrees, rising to 11 to 15 degrees — and up to 19 degrees where sunshine lasts longer.

The weather will remain unstable on Thursday. Sunshine will mix with clouds, and showers are expected to develop during the day, particularly in mountainous areas. Winds will strengthen slightly near showers but otherwise remain weak. Morning temperatures will range from 4 to 9 degrees, with highs between 15 and 23 degrees.

Friday: Continued Unsettled Pattern

A weak disturbance will keep conditions changeable on Friday as well. Sun and clouds will alternate, with some clouds becoming temporarily dense. Scattered showers are again likely. Winds may pick up briefly near showers but will stay mostly light. Early temperatures will be between 4 and 10 degrees, with afternoon highs from 16 to 23 degrees.
