Vienna, Austria — A gesture of faith, solidarity, and community spirit marked the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Canonical Coronation of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Manaoag on Saturday, April 25, at the Herz Jesu Parish in Vienna.
During the festivities, the Our Lady of Manaoag Devotees in Vienna, in cooperation with the Through Mary to Jesus (TMTJ) Devotional Group and Foundation, formally handed over a donation in support of the Kindergarten project of the “Pfarre der Weg Jesu” in Idio, Antique, Philippines.
Strengthening Mission Work Across Borders
The Kindergarten initiative—part of the parish’s broader mission outreach in the Philippines—aims to provide young children in the remote community of Idio with a safe, nurturing, and development‑focused learning environment. More information about the project is available through the parish’s mission page: derwegjesu.at/mission.
Representatives of the devotional groups expressed that their support is an offering of gratitude and a concrete way of living out Marian devotion through service to others, especially children and families in need.
A Warm Welcome from the Parish
The Parish of the Heart of Jesus (Herz Jesu) gratefully received the donation. Parish leaders emphasized that the contribution will significantly help sustain the ongoing construction and educational needs of the Kindergarten.
They also highlighted the inspiring example set by the Filipino devotional communities in Vienna—showing how faith can move people to build bridges of compassion across continents.
A Celebration of Faith and Generosity
The donation became a meaningful addition to the centennial commemoration of Our Lady of Manaoag’s canonical coronation. As devotees gathered in prayer and thanksgiving, the act of giving underscored the enduring message of the celebration: faith expressed through love, service, and shared mission.
