Today, Saturday, especially on the northern side of the Alps, some snow will fall in the first half of the day. From noon on, the snowfall will ease and the clouds will clear, away from the northern Alps it will still be sunny at times. In the Danube region, a moderate westerly wind will freshen, on the eastern edge of the Alps a brisk westerly wind in places. Highs will range between -3 and +5 degrees.
Sunday will be generally cloudy, especially on the northern side of the Alps snow will fall repeatedly. From Vorarlberg to the Tyrolean lowlands it will remain particularly unsettled with partly heavy snowfall, in the east the snow line will rise to around 500 to 600 meters. The wind will initially be light in the south and east, on the northern side of the Alps a brisk to partly strong westerly wind will develop. Temperatures will reach -3 degrees in the south and up to +6 degrees in the north.
On Monday, many clouds will remain from the Tyrolean lowlands to the eastern edge of the Alps, the sun will come through only in the far west during the day. On the northern side of the Alps, some snow will fall, but the expected amounts of new snow will remain quite small. The wind will blow moderately to briskly from west to northwest, temperatures will reach -2 degrees to +7 degrees in the east.
