For many, a delicious cup of coffee is only perfect with a sip of condensed milk or coffee cream. What are the differences between the products? And what is coffee milk?

The bitter flavor of coffee or tea is softened by adding condensed milk. However, coffee cream or milk is also a popular addition when fresh or long-life milk is unavailable.

Coffee has these positive effects.
People who drink two to four cups of coffee daily have the greatest positive effect than those who drink no coffee. Coffee drinkers can significantly reduce their risk of certain diseases.
Frequent coffee drinkers are less likely to develop cancer than those who drink less. This applies to certain types of cancer, including prostate cancer, leukemia, and liver cancer.

Condensed milk
Condensed milk is slightly thicker. This is because the milk is heated to between 40 and 80 degrees. This causes it to condense and reduce its water content. Another side effect of heating is that it acquires a slight caramel flavor. Dried milk products or sugar are often added to the condensed milk. The condensed milk is then heated to 100 degrees Celsius to sterilize it. This means it can be kept for longer, even when not refrigerated.
The fat content of condensed milk is between four and ten percent. However, there are also products with a fat content of one percent. They are made with skimmed milk.

Coffee cream
Coffee cream consists of pure cream with a lower fat content. Unlike condensed milk, it is not condensed but heated to 120 degrees Celsius so that it can be kept for longer. Nevertheless, in some cases, it should only be kept refrigerated. Coffee cream is made from sweet cream and skimmed milk. By adding the two ingredients in different proportions, the fat and sugar content and, therefore, the flavor can be altered. No dried milk products are added to coffee cream. The fat content of coffee cream is at least 10 percent.

Coffee milk
Coffee milk consists mainly of UHT milk and some skimmed milk powder or cream. It is often used in the catering industry to make milk foam. The fat content of coffee milk is around four percent.

Differences
Unlike condensed milk, coffee cream does not settle in the hot drink. This is due to homogenization—the fat and water components are evenly mixed.

Other differences are the fat content and the ingredients. Adding dried milk products makes condensed milk and coffee milk sweeter and, therefore, sweeter in flavor. Only coffee cream is produced without additives.
