On Thursday, dense clouds with only a few clear spells will initially persist in the west, north and east. Some rain is to be expected at least occasionally. From the Tyrolean lowlands to the Vienna Woods, rain is expected again all day. Away from the mountains, the cloud cover will increasingly clear, and the sun will make an appearance. However, one or two rain showers from cumulus clouds cannot be ruled out. In the south and southeast, the day will be very sunny and mainly dry with low to moderate cloud cover. The wind will be moderate to brisk, in the east and the foehn corridor, and also strong, from west to northwest. Early temperatures range from 7 to 14 degrees, with daytime highs of 15 to 23 degrees.
Friday will begin in the eastern half of Austria under many dense residual clouds from a moving disturbance. Rain showers are to be expected, especially in the mountains. The clouds will increasingly clear and the sunny spells will become longer. However, rain showers are still to be expected locally in the north and east. In the rest of the country, on the other hand, it will be very sunny from early in the morning, and a few harmless clouds will hardly be a problem. The wind will blow weakly to moderately from the north-east, and also briskly from west to north. Early temperatures will range from 8 to 14 degrees, with daytime highs between 19 and 29 degrees.
Up to 32 degrees
Already in the morning, the weather will be sunny throughout Austria on Saturday. During the day, some spring clouds will develop, especially over the mountains and hills, but the probability of rain showers will remain very low. The wind will blow weakly to moderately from different directions. Early temperatures will range from 7 to 14 degrees, with daytime highs reaching a pleasant 24 to 30 degrees.
On Sunday, the sun will initially be widely visible. In Vorarlberg and parts of Tyrol, however, the first rain showers may appear in the morning. These will spread to large parts of the country during the day. In the mountains and hills in particular, heavy cumulus clouds will form, significantly increasing the risk of thunderstorms. Despite all this, the sun will occasionally make an appearance. It will stay dry the longest in the lowlands. The wind will continue to blow weakly to moderately from variable directions. Early temperatures will rise to 10 to 16 degrees, with highs reaching a summery 24 to 32 degrees, with the warmest temperatures in the east.
