The Ministries of Health and Interior have reported 77 newly registered coronavirus cases within the last 24 hours (as of 9:30 a.m. today). The states reported these numbers to the national crisis team.
10,697 people have died as a result of coronavirus so far. Currently, 217 people are receiving hospital treatment for coronavirus, 70 of whom are in intensive care units.
7-day incidence according to AGES at 10.5
According to the Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES), the 7-day incidence, i.e. the number of new infections with the coronavirus in the past seven days per 100,000 inhabitants, is 10.5 (as of 14:00 yesterday).
No province has a value above 25, many have a value below 10.0, with a recent trend of further decline. Styria (3.6) has the lowest value, Vienna the highest with 21.6.
