Apple plans to focus on producing larger devices and release 4 models with a 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display.

A recent report from Nikkei Asia suggests that Apple wants to focus on producing larger devices and replace the iPhone Mini (5.4 inches) with a low-cost iPhone Pro Max with 6.7 inches.

Apple had already announced in March that it would stop production of the iPhone Mini due to poor sales figures. Next year, the company plans to launch another 6.7-inch device and two 6.1-inch models for the iPhone 14 lineup, in addition to the iPhone Pro Max. This is to include the following models:

iPhone 14

iPhone 14 Max

iPhone 14 Pro

iPhone 14 Pro Max

FaceID and MagSafe unlikely for iPhone SE
The low-priced iPhone SE is also expected to get an upgrade and not only be more powerful, but also 5G-capable. However, features like FaceID and MagSafe are not expected – and a better camera is also unlikely, according to the report. In general, all devices that will be launched next year should be 5G-capable. New 4G devices, on the other hand, are not expected to be launched.

The processors are the same A15 processor and Qualcomm X60 modem for 5G that the iPhone 13 line has integrated. This series is supposed to include the last Mini model for the time being.
