In the fight against the coronavirus, Vienna relies on vaccinations without registration and without appointment. Two major campaigns start today: Eight vaccination boxes, distributed throughout the city, open and in the Austria Center will be vaccinated for a week spontaneously with free choice of vaccine.
In Austria Center, the COVID 19 vaccination without registration takes place until Sunday, August 8. Aside from this, one can also choose between all available vaccines – AstraZeneca, Biontech/Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and Moderna. All that is needed is an ID card and, if available, an e-card. On the homepage of the Austria Center you can also check the current occupancy rate – this is to avoid long waiting times – read more in Vienna launches campaign with all vaccines.
Those who don’t want to drive all the way to the Austria Center can go to one of the eight new vaccination boxes instead. They are distributed throughout the city. One, for example, is located next to the Ferris wheel in the Prater. Other locations include Neubau, Favoriten, Hietzing and Liesing. In all vaccination boxes, the single-use vaccine Johnson and Johnson is vaccinated. Teenagers get Biontech/Pfizer –
