There is a slight increase of Corona Infections in Austria. In Vienna alone, 305 people are currently ill.
After less than 70 Covid-19 patients had to be treated in hospital in Austria on Sunday, this number rose again significantly on Monday. Currently (as of Monday, 9.30 a.m.) 82 corona patients are in hospital. The number of intensive care patients, however, remains the same.
Thus, 17 Covid-19 patients continue to receive intensive medical care. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the number of actively ill patients also remains the same: 357 people in Austria are actively suffering from Covid-19.
A total of 66 new infections were reported throughout Austria on Monday. 61 of them were recorded in Vienna – whereby these data refer to the past 48 hours. Within the past 24 hours, three new cases of corona were registered in Lower Austria and one new case each in Upper Austria and Vorarlberg.
