In the USA, 37,417 new infections were registered within 24 hours. A total of 6.786 million people have been proven to be infected with the coronavirus, according to the CDC. The number of deaths has increased by 270 to 199,024. The figures from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) do not necessarily reflect the data reported by the individual states.
