The EU with 27 member states and almost 450 million inhabitants has secured one billion vaccine doses from three manufacturers. However, experts warn that not every vaccine may be effective.
Brussels. According to insiders, the EU Commission assumes that not enough vaccine doses will be available for the entire EU population by the end of 2021. This was announced by a Commission representative to EU diplomats on Monday, the news agency Reuters learned from a participant of the meeting. A second insider made similar statements.
