What if I violate the Corona measures?
25 Euro will be charged for a missing mask, 50 Euro for a missing safety distance. If charges are filed, the health authorities can impose a fine of up to 1450 euros.
I do a test at home, do I have to report this?
There is a legal obligation to report positive test results of antigen tests. Doctors must also report a positive antigen test as a suspicious case to the authorities.
What if I do not comply with the quarantine?
Any violations will be punished as an administrative offence. Fines of up to 1450 euros can be imposed. There are reports about this according to the epidemic law.
Can I still take a cab – even two or more people?
Cabs, Uber & Co. are allowed. If the journey involves people who do not live in the same household, only two people may be transported in each row of seats.
What applies now in the markets where I like to shop?
There is an obligation to maintain a minimum distance of one meter and the obligation to wear a mouth and nose protector for customers and employees.
When may I leave my house or apartment?
According to the ordinance, there are only 9 reasons to do so: 1. avoidance of danger; 2. assistance, exercise of family rights; 3. necessary basic needs: Shopping, contact with close relatives, visits to the doctor, basic religious needs, animal care; 4. professional purposes; 5. recreation; 6. administrative tasks; 7. participation in elections; 8. entering customer areas, if not closed(e.g. car repair shops); 9. participation in permitted events.
