5,526 new corona infections in Austria

Austria, 26 November 2020 – Most new infections occur in Lower Austria, followed by Styria and Vienna.

The number of new infections in Austria remains high. From Wednesday to Thursday there were 5,526 new corona infections. There are 7,283 new recoveries.

Compared to the previous week, the trend is clear. Also today there are again about 1,300 new corona infections less than in the same period last week.

Currently, 3,756 positively tested persons are undergoing hospital treatment, 705 persons are in intensive care.

➤ Carinthia: 414

➤ Lower Austria: 756

➤ Upper Austria: 507

➤ Salzburg: 140

➤ Styria: 746

➤ Tyrol: 293

➤ Vorarlberg: 105

➤ Vienna: 575
