Until Monday 41,962 people in Germany have already received the first dose of the Corona vaccine. This was reported by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Tuesday. For this, the number of vaccinated is currently still too low, explained RKI spokeswoman Susanne Glasmacher. Recorded are currently vaccinations with the first vaccination dose. A second vaccination is due about three weeks after the first to achieve complete vaccination protection. Thus, it cannot be assumed that all vaccinated persons are already safely protected against the Covid-19 disease.
