From New Year’s Eve to New Year’s Day, there were 2,096 new corona infections in Austria.
To date, there have been 362,911 positive test results in Austria. As of today (01 January 2021, 09:30), 6,261 people across Austria have died as a result of Corona virus and 334,901 have recovered. Currently, 2,243 persons are undergoing hospital treatment due to the corona virus, and of these, 385 of the ill persons are in intensive care units.
