According to the City of Vienna, as of January 18, all people interested in a CoV vaccination can register for one. This will be done via a so-called pre-registration platform, which is located on the homepage “Impfservice.wien”. It will also be possible to register for vaccination by telephone via hotline 1450.
All interested Viennese would be informed then by the health authorities, according to the speaker of the health city council. Dates are assigned after “prioritization in the national vaccination strategy”. As a rule, high-risk groups – such as elderly people in nursing and retirement homes – are vaccinated first.
