As of January 18, all Viennese can register for a Corona vaccination. A detailed overview of the procedure.
The health department of the city of Vienna gives Stadtpolitik Wien the details of the vaccination schedule. On January 18, a pre-registration platform will be activated on impfservice.wien. Already at the end of January, the vaccination of Viennese outside the institutionalized sectors will begin in 12 vaccination centers and a new vaccination street.
In the upcoming rollout of vaccinations, the city will receive about 20,000 doses per week, which will be vaccinated in Phase 1 among people aged 80 and older, in elderly care and nursing facilities, among health care workers in high-risk areas, among emergency services and general practitioners and dentists, as well as in COVID laboratories.
Phase 2 includes the extended risk group (including people > 70 years of age), then Phase 3 includes the general risk group (including people > 60 years of age) and establishments. Finally, the remaining people over 16 years of age will be vaccinated – i.e., about 1.2 million people.
Vienna already has the electronic vaccination passport, and the number of vaccinations is delivered to the federal government in real time. For each vaccination, a report is sent to the ÖGK in addition to the entry in the vaccination certificate. A separate dashboard is not currently planned.
