An adapted version of the Austrian Immunization Dashboard will be rolled out Wednesday evening. The Ministry of Health will then also present the number of partially and fully immunized individuals according to the e-vaccination passport, as announced during an online presentation to media representatives this morning.
So far, the ministry’s overview of figures at info.gesundheitsministerium.gv.at shows the doses requested by vaccination centers and the vials of serum delivered to them; a theoretical number of vaccinated persons was last calculated from the second figure.
This estimate of just under 190,000 persons at present will thus be reduced to about 150,000 persons (of whom about 4,300 are fully immunized). However, even the 150,000 still do not correspond to the actual number of people currently vaccinated in Austria, as the registration rate in the e-vaccination passport is only around 80 to 85 percent. Therefore, there will be additional registrations in the coming weeks.
For the time being, the dashboard does not show how advanced the phases of the national vaccination plan are according to the prioritization of individual population groups, as such an assignment is not organizationally possible at the current stage. Detailed levels such as vaccinations by district, vaccinees by age group, or the general vaccine-eligible proportion of the population would also be conceivable only in later versions of the dashboard, if at all.
