On Monday, Austria takes its first easing steps. On Saturday, there are1,333 new infections with the coronavirus and 21 new deaths.
As reported by the Ministry of Interior in its daily report, there have been 1,333 new infections with the coronavirus throughout Austria in the past 24 hours. There are also 21 new deaths, as well as a reduction of -18 in normal wards and -4 in intensive care units.
The AGES Covid-19 dashboard draws its data exclusively from the Epidemiologic Reporting Registry (EMS) and is updated once daily, at 2 p.m. The EMS is the official register in which data is entered by district authorities as well as laboratories.
In the Ministry of Interior, on the other hand, the figures are updated during the daily video conference of the State Crisis and Disaster Management in the Operations and Coordination Center (EKC). These figures may include cases that are not yet recorded in the EMS.
