Corona numbers continue to rise dramatically in Austria. On Thursday, 1,577 new infections were reported.
Corona numbers in Austria remain at a high level. On Wednesday, there were 1,469 new infections, and on Thursday, 1,577 new cases were reported across Austria. In addition, there were 24 deaths.
A total of 224,999 tests were performed on Wednesday. So far, there have been 429,139 positive test results in Austria since the pandemic began. 8,138 people have died as a result of Corona disease.
1,513 people are currently in hospital treatment, 265 of them in intensive care.
