After there were already more than 2,000 new infections in Austria on Wednesday for the first time in a month, the number rose again on Thursday. In the past 24 hours, there have been 2,391 confirmed new infections in Austria.
There are also 23 new deaths linked to Covid-19.
In hospitals, the number of Covid patients treated has at least decreased. There are 27 fewer patients in the normal ward and 5 fewer patients in the intensive care unit.
