From Sunday to Monday, there are 1,910 new Corona infections in Austria. The Monday figure always tends to be slightly lower than the other infections during the week. So the current new infection numbers show a clear trend of where things are headed this week.
Compared to the previous week (1,401 infections), today’s number is significantly higher, so the 7-day incidence is also up. Because there are also “only” 1,880 new recoveries, this means the number of active cases is also increasing.
