For the second day in a row, a slight decrease in the number of Corona intensive care patients has been recorded within the past 24 hours. Unchanged at too high a level, however, were the new infections on Thursday (as of 9:30 a.m.): 3363 new cases were reported. A week ago, there had been 3124.
There was a decrease in patients in both normal and intensive care units within the past 24 hours. In normal wards, 17 fewer people were treated, while in intensive care units there were nine fewer compared to the previous day.
Since yesterday, 29 more people have died as a result of coronavirus infection. So far, there are 9368 corona deaths across Austria.
