Johnson&Johnson, as reported, suspended its shipment to Europe because of the risk of thrombosis. About 10,000 doses are therefore missing in Vienna, in addition to delivery problems at AstraZeneca. “If Johnson&Johnson lifts the stop, then vaccinations will also be carried out with it,” said a spokesman for City Health Councillor Peter Hacker (SPÖ). Already fixed vaccination dates are fortunately not in danger by the delivery stop.

More Pfizer vaccine will arrive in Vienna by summer. From the special delivery of one million doses, 215,000 yowls (21.5 percent) are to be reserved for the Viennese.
