When it comes to checking those who have been tested, vaccinated and recovered, restaurat operators will in future have the same rights as police officers.
Tested, vaccinated, recovered, (getestet, geimpft, genesen) with the “3G rule” one has access to the restaurant, wellness hotel or fitness center from May 19. It was unclear until recently, who should control the compliance of this. Now it is clear: restaurant and hotel operators will get the same rights as police officers.
Who can check your entry pass
From May 19, anyone who wants to visit a restaurant or check into a hotel will have to show “proof of a low epidemiological risk.” For this, the government is relying on the green entry pass. This will state whether one has been vaccinated, recovered or tested, with self-tests valid for 24 hours, antigen tests for 48 hours and PCR tests for 72 hours. Recovered and vaccinated submit a separate confirmation. However, you are not exempted from the mask requirement and clearance rules because of this.
According to the decree, which the federal government presented on Monday, the proof of whether one is vaccinated, recovered or freshly tested may be checked by:
- Organs of the public security service (police)
- public authorities and administrative courts in the case of communication with parties and official acts
- owners of a place of business or work and operators of a means of transport
- the person responsible for a meeting
