1,194 new corona infections in Austria

From Tuesday to Wednesday, there were 1,194 new Corona infections in Austria. Compared to the previous week (1,644), the number of new infections is nevertheless 450 lower. Thus, the 7-day incidence is also decreasing.

With 1,954 new recoveries, the number of active cases also drops to 13,866. In addition, there are 15 deaths related to Covid 19 infection.

Within the past 24 hours, there were 89,465 new PCR tests, bringing the positive rate to 1.33 percent.

Styria: 167
Lower Austria: 151
Tyrol: 134
Vorarlberg: 88
Carinthia: 66
Salzburg: 64
Burgenland: 15
