The value is far below the average of the past seven days (911). The seven-day incidence also continues to decline.
Number of hospital patients declines
There were 973 Covid patients in hospital on Saturday (as of 9:30 a.m.), down 19 from Friday, 321 of them in intensive care units.
The positive rate of PCR tests reported within 24 hours (54,303 meaningful) was 1.2 percent. This is lower than the average for the past week (an average of 1.5 percent of PCR tests positive).
The 7-day incidence also continued to decline. Currently, it stands at 71.6 cases per 100,000 population. This means the 7-day incidence has been steadily below 100 since Monday – the last time that was the case before that was at the end of October.
