From July 1 possible again: dancing in the club, drinking at the bar, more visitors in homes and hospitals
On Monday, the ordinance on the further relaxation of the Corona measures will be issued. The new rules should then apply from July 1, it was said in response to an APA query from the Ministry of Health. Among other things, the specifications on visitor limits in homes and hospitals will also fall, media reports were confirmed. In addition, FFP2 masks will then no longer have to be worn there; mouth-nose protection (MNS) will suffice.
The new regulations mainly include those measures announced by the government on June 17. For example, the curfew will be abolished and, taking into account the 3-G rule (vaccinated, tested, recovered), dancing in clubs and drinking at bars will be possible again. The square meter rules will be dropped – also in the trade.
Less mask obligation
There will be far-reaching easing of the mask requirement: from July 1, masks can be dispensed with completely indoors wherever “3G” applies – i.e. in restaurants, tourism, cultural and leisure establishments (e.g. fitness studios), sports facilities and at events (with more than 100 people).
In public transport, stores and museums (where “3G” does not apply), a conventional mouth/nose protection will then suffice. Originally, only nursing homes and hospitals were required to use FFP2, but this has now been replaced by mandatory MNS.
As of July 1, all events with seating or standing room can take place without audience capacity restrictions. This applies to art and culture, but also to sports events, including catering. Events with 100 or more people are subject to notification and events with 500 or more people are subject to approval. In the private sector, all contact and distance rules are to be dropped as of July 1.
Further simplifications are then to come into force on July 22. Then for example the omission of the registration obligation in the catering trade and with meetings are planned as well as a further relaxation of the MNS obligation.
