6,189 active cases – no new deaths linked to Covid-19 infection.
There were 553 new Corona infections in Austria from Saturday to Sunday. The 7-day incidence thus continues to rise after yesterday’s high of 607 new cases – 40.15 signify the highest value since May 25. Just about a month ago, the 7-day incidence was only 6.
The number of active cases currently stands at 6,189, with no new deaths recorded. To date, 10,750 people have died in association with Covid 19 infection.
There were also 46,310 new PCR tests performed in the past 24 hours.
There was no movement in Austria’s hospitals. As was the case the day before, 146 patients are currently undergoing inpatient treatment. In the intensive care units, there are 40 patients.
5,349,349 people (59.89% of the total population) have received – as of Saturday – at least one Corona vaccination, of which 4,820,359 people (53.96%) have full vaccination protection.
